Why I became a dentist
As a child, while being treated at the dentist, I realized one thing.
It struck me that a single treatment can not only relieve pain, but also change a person's expression and the feel of their entire day. Over time, that feeling settled into one wish.
"I want to be someone who makes another person's everyday life a little more comfortable."
That desire naturally led me to dentistry, and even now, the resolution I felt then remains at the center of my care.
Clinical Expertise
As an orthodontist, I currently treat a wide range of orthodontic cases, and lately I’ve been focusing on Invisalign-centered digital orthodontics.
More patients are choosing comfortable care with nearly invisible appliances, and advances in technology keep expanding the types of cases we can treat. Because the appliances are discreet and usually cause less soreness, many patients feel more at ease and are satisfied with their results.
Treatment Style
If I had to describe my approach in one sentence,
Orthodontics isn’t just about making teeth look straight; it’s a comprehensive treatment that brings teeth, bone, and muscles into balance. That’s why I always conduct a precise, data-driven analysisand build the most practical treatment plan from it. At the same time, I believe treatment only has meaning when the patient fully understands and agrees.
Treatment Philosophy
The principles I value most are
Because orthodontic care can span several years, the plan made at the start has a major impact on the outcome. When the plan is clear, the process stays steady, and patients can naturally understand the course of change.
Advice for Patients
When I explain how to manage your treatment, I always say:
With Invisalign in particular, how consistently you wear your aligners determines both the pace and the quality of results. Because they’re comfortable, it’s easy to forget them, but a difference of just a few hours per day can translate into months overall. That’s why at each visit I emphasize "we build this treatment together".
A Memorable Experience
One memorable experience was a message a patient sent after completing orthodontic treatment.
As their teeth became straighter, not only did their appearance change, their expression brightened and even their speech grew more confident.
Current Interests
Recently, Invisalign First and MA (mandibular advancement) for growing patients, and dentofacial orthopedic treatment, as well as advanced digital diagnostic systems. As the field of orthodontics continues to evolve, I keep learning so I can deliver care that is faster and more comfortable for patients.
A Bit About Me
Colleagues describe me as "calm and meticulous". That attention to detail helps in diagnosis and planning. I believe getting the first step right is the most important part of any treatment.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy exercise and reading, and I make time to keep studying new clinical knowledge. Everyday life with my children is my greatest rest and motivation, and it naturally brings more warmth to the way I care for patients.
