We precisely shape the canals with Ni-Ti rotary files, then fill them tightly with a sealing material (GP points). We measure the exact length with an electronic apex locator.
Crown Placement

Root Canal Treatment (endodontic treatment) is performed when the nerve (pulp) inside a tooth becomes infected or necrotic due to a cavity or trauma. The infected tissue is removed, then the inside is disinfected and filled. It is an important treatment to save the tooth without extraction.
Because it is done under adequate anesthesia, there is little to no pain during treatment. In fact, the toothache before treatment is often much worse. Mild discomfort for 1~2 days afterward can be managed with pain relievers.
Once the nerve is removed, blood supply to the tooth stops, and it can become dry and weakened. That is why it is standard to place a crown (restoration) after Root Canal Treatment to protect the tooth.
Usually 2~3 visits are required. Depending on how severe the infection is, more visits may be needed, and the interval between visits is 1~2 weeks. For acute pain, we provide emergency care first and then proceed step by step.
If the infected nerve is left untreated, pus can form at the tip of the tooth root (Periapical abscess) and the infection can spread to the surrounding bone. Swelling of the face and severe pain may occur, and extraction may eventually become unavoidable.
