How much do Laminate Veneers (Glownate) cost?

At Seoul BD Dental, our in-house aesthetic prosthetic system, Glownate, is 800,000 KRW per tooth (approx. $580, single flat price). For Laminate Veneers made at other clinics, re-make (repair) fees are guided after consultation depending on current condition. Pricing can vary by the amount of tooth reduction and the number of teeth treated (usually 4–10 front teeth).

How much is Scaling (Dental Cleaning) in Cheonan? Is it covered by Korean NHIS?

Scaling (Dental Cleaning) is covered by Korean NHIS once per year for patients aged 19 or older, with a co-pay of about 15,000–20,000 KRW (approx. $11–$15). If you exceed one covered visit per year, non-covered scaling is 60,000 KRW (approx. $44). If your gums bleed or heavy tartar has built up, we recommend prompt cleaning regardless of coverage, and depending on your gum condition, this may proceed to Gum (Periodontal) Treatment (covered by Korean NHIS).

How much does Wisdom Tooth extraction cost in Cheonan?

Wisdom Tooth extraction is a service covered by Korean NHIS. The co-pay varies by difficulty—such as a simple extraction versus an impacted tooth requiring a gum incision—and is typically in the several-thousand to tens-of-thousands KRW range. At Seoul BD Dental, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon is on-site, and after CT diagnosis we can safely remove impacted or horizontally lying Wisdom Teeth; we inform you of the exact co-pay right after panoramic/CT imaging. If you’re anxious about extraction, it can be done with Sedation Dentistry (200,000 KRW (approx. $146)).

How much does Cavity treatment (Composite Resin) cost in Cheonan?

Composite Resin treatment varies by tooth location and size 50,000–250,000 KRW (approx. $37–$183). Example fees: cavity on the back of a front tooth 50,000 KRW (approx. $37); small occlusal surface of a molar 100,000 KRW (approx. $73); wider areas or between-teeth cavities 250,000 KRW (approx. $183). If decay is deep and reaches the nerve, Root Canal Treatment (covered by Korean NHIS) followed by a Crown 550,000 KRW (approx. $400) may be needed. For children age 12 or younger, Composite Resin on permanent teeth is covered by Korean NHIS. Before treatment, we confirm the size and number of cavities and provide a written estimate.

If the decay is too large to fill with Composite Resin but doesn’t require a full Crown, we place an Inlay; if you’ve had a Root Canal Treatment or the tooth is severely damaged, we place a Crown. After a root canal, a resin core 50,000 KRW (approx. $37) and a post 100,000 KRW (approx. $73) may be added.

How much does teeth whitening cost in Cheonan?

Professional teeth whitening is Soft whitening (30 min/session) 49,000 KRW (approx. $36), Hard whitening (2 sessions, 60 min) 80,000 KRW (approx. $58)(VAT 10% not included). After diagnosis by our director, a Seoul National University graduate, a licensed dental hygienist performs the procedure. The best approach depends on the cause of discoloration (diet, smoking, age, or discoloration after Root Canal Treatment). Teeth discolored after Root Canal Treatment may be better treated with internal (non-vital) bleaching or a Crown or Laminate Veneer; we’ll advise after diagnosis.

How much does gum treatment cost? If my gums bleed, should I come in?

Gum (Periodontal) Treatment is covered by the Korean NHISwith an out-of-pocket copay of a few thousand to tens of thousands of KRW per visit. Bleeding gums are a hallmark sign of gingivitis/periodontitis; without care, the bone can resorb and teeth may be lost, so we recommend prompt evaluation. Seoul BD Dental provides periodontal care using a stepwise approach tailored to your gum condition: Scaling (Dental Cleaning) → root planing → periodontal curettage. Exact costs are provided after a periodontal exam.

Do you offer interest-free installments or payment plans?

Yes, up to 12-month interest-free installmentsare available, and benefits vary by card issuer; we’ll explain during consultation. Orthodontic treatment can also be paid in installments aligned with the treatment period. Seoul BD Dental provides a written estimate itemizing costs before treatment begins, and if any additional fees may arise during care, we will always explain in advance and obtain your consent.
