Zirconia/all-ceramic can last 10~15 years or more, and PFM 7~10 years. With good care, they can last even longer.
Typically, it takes 2 visits over about 1~2 weeks.
Keep the crown and visit us as soon as possible. It may be re-cemented, or a new crown may be needed.
It depends on the tooth’s location and your situation. For front teeth, esthetic Zirconia; for molars, high-strength Zirconia or gold are suitable. We’ll provide a precise recommendation after an exam and consultation.

It varies by material: Zirconia and all-ceramic are the most expensive, while PFM is relatively economical. Some cases are covered by Korean NHIS (for children under age 12 primary-tooth crown etc.), and we will explain details during your consultation.

Yes—due to cement aging, recurrent decay, or excessive force. If it comes off, keep the crown and visit the dentist as soon as possible. Be careful not to swallow it, and avoid chewing on that tooth.

Zirconia has very high strength (metal-like), making it suitable for back teeth, while all-ceramic (e.max) offers translucency and shade most similar to natural teeth, so it’s mainly used for front teeth. Recently, esthetic zirconia has also been used for front teeth.
