Long-lasting Dental Implants, care you can trust

Why I became a dentist

I wanted to do work that helps people directly. When your teeth hurt, everyday life becomes difficult, and if you cannot eat, you can even lose the energy for life.

After Dental Implant treatment, when patients say "I can eat well again now" is a moment I have experienced many times, and it has shown me that the work I chose truly changes someone’s life and healthI came to deeply realize this. That realization has been the biggest reason I have continued Dental Implant care to this day.

Specialty: Dental Implant

Only Dental Implant care for over 10 years continuing, Over 30,000 Dental Implant surgeries have been performed.

The more cases I see, the clearer one truth becomes. A Dental Implant is not simply a "placement technique," but a comprehensive, predictive treatment that requires reading the overall condition—from bone and gums to eating habits and systemic healthThat is the point.

So for every surgery, rather than a one-time success, I plan around "long-lasting treatment" as the guiding principle for my treatment plan.

Treatment Style

If I sum up my treatment style in one sentence:

"Safe, meticulous care that follows every necessary step and protocol."

With Dental Implants, faster is not always better, the unseen preparation makes the biggest difference. Following each required step precisely ultimately determines the outcome years—and even decades—later.

Treatment Philosophy

I always return to one principle.

"Treat so that your teeth can last 10, 20 years and beyond."

I do not skip steps for short-term convenience, nor do I add unnecessary treatments. 'Would I treat this way if it were my own family?' is the question that guides my care.

Advice for Patients

I always emphasize two things to my patients.

First, avoid foods that are too hard or chewy.
Second, be sure to use an interdental brush.

Even with a Dental Implant, if your oral environment isn’t healthy, it’s hard for it to last long. Small daily habits greatly influence how long the results last.

A Patient I Remember Most

The most memorable patient had lost all their teeth during chemotherapy and could not eat at all.

As we underwent a Full-Mouth Implant and a long recovery together, a patient who had not been able to chew a proper bite returned for a 1-year checkup looking better, with a healthier complexion and some weight gained, "I'm truly grateful" the patient said.

That moment reminded me that Dental Implant treatment is not merely about making teeth, but about restoring a patient's entire life—a fact that this valuable experience reminded me of again.

Current Areas of Interest

Lately, Dental Implant and Bone Graft (GBR) are what I’ve been studying in greater depth. Because this area is crucial to manage patients with insufficient bone and challenging cases more predictably and safely.

Personal side

I’m usually quiet and a bit reserved (INFP). But quiet doesn’t mean passive. In fact, once I take on something, I’m strongly inclined to carry it through responsibly. This naturally supports the focus and prudence required in surgical care.

Outside of work, I enjoy travel and wine. 🍷 Completely unwinding in a new place is great recharging for the next appointment, and it lets me meet patients in better condition—an important part of my routine.

The experience I hope you feel at Seoul BD Dental is simple.

"A dental clinic you can trust—without overtreatment."

Dental Implants may look daunting on the surface, but with precise planning and adherence to principles, they’re quite predictable treatment.
I value clear explanation and communication so you can understand your care without anxiety and feel reassured.

Interview with the Director

A message from Dr. Seungyeop Lee

What is the biggest lesson from over 30,000 Dental Implant surgeries?

A Dental Implant is not simply a "placement technique"; it is comprehensive, predictive care that reads the overall situation— from bone and gums to eating habits and systemic health. I plan with the standard of "treatment that lasts," rather than a one-time success.

What matters most in post-implant care?

I emphasize two things. First, avoid very hard or chewy foods. Second, be sure to use an interdental brush. Even with a Dental Implant, if your oral environment isn’t healthy, it’s hard for it to last long.

A word for those considering a Dental Implant.

Dental Implants may look daunting on the surface, but if we adhere to accurate planning and principles, they are sufficiently predictable treatment. A dental clinic you can trust without overtreatment, we’ll make sure you feel at ease through clear explanations and communication.

Care Philosophy

"Let’s provide care so you can use your teeth for 10, 20 years or longer."

We don’t skip steps for immediate convenience, nor add unnecessary treatment. We provide care by asking, 'If this were my family, is this how I would treat it?'

"Safe, meticulous care that follows every necessary step and protocol."

With Dental Implants, faster isn’t automatically better, and the preparation you don’t see makes the biggest difference.
