What is First-Phase Orthodontics?

First-Phase Orthodontics is a Phase 1 program designed for growing children ages 6~10. It begins during the mixed dentition stage, when baby and permanent teeth are both present, to guide proper eruption of permanent teeth, widen a narrow dental arch, and balance upper–lower jaw growth. Starting early during growth can greatly shorten and simplify Phase 2 (full) orthodontic treatment.

Balanced jaw growth

By balancing upper and lower jaw growth, skeletal malocclusionis prevented.

Streamlined Phase 2 orthodontics
