With an Implant Overdenture, you can eat most foods. Conventional dentures may have some limitations.

It secures the denture with 2~4 Dental Implants. Chewing force is 3~4 times stronger than with regular dentures, and there is no concern about it coming loose. It also costs less than Full-Mouth Implant treatment.

An upper (maxillary) denture Palatecovers these tissues, which can slightly reduce taste. Implant Overdentures do not cover the palate, helping maintain a more natural sense of taste.

For those aged 65 and over, Korean NHIS coverage applies once every 7 years, so the out-of-pocket cost is about 30% (about 400,000–500,000 KRW; approx. $292–$365). For lower-income beneficiaries, the out-of-pocket share is 15%.

Most patients need about 2–4 weeks to adapt. At first, you may notice a bulky feeling, difficulty speaking, or sore gums, but you will adjust over time. We perform multiple adjustments to make them comfortable.

After every meal, brush them under running water, and soak them in a denture cleanser at bedtime. Sleeping with dentures can strain your gums, so it’s better to remove them at night. We recommend using a dedicated cleanser 1–2 times per week.

Over time, your jawbone can resorb, making dentures feel loose. In such cases, a denture reline (the inside rebase) or a remake may be needed. Don’t put up with the pain—please visit the clinic for adjustments.

It involves placing 2–4 implants in the jaw and securing the denture onto them. It is much more stable than a conventional denture, improves chewing force, and won’t come loose. This greatly reduces the discomfort of traditional dentures.
